Kyle’s love for fine jewelry began at age of 10 when traveling to New York City with his Grandmother. She too had a jewelry business, and Kyle accompanied her on jewelry buying trips to the Big Apple. The industrial feel of the jewelry artisans of 47th street immediately inspired Kyle.

“I remember the sounds of the hammers against the gold, the colors of the welding torches, and the gemstones. I was very young and had no idea what they were doing, but I knew I wanted to do that too.”

And so he did. Years later moved to New York, lived and trained on 47th street among the best jewelers in the world. He obtained numerous certifications and education through the prestigious Gemological Institute of America. He then began his goldsmith training at Studio Jewelers and later apprenticed for local jewelers hoping to “learn absolutely everything I could.”

After several years of city life, working on couture jewelry for celebrities and Red Carpet events, Kyle realized New York was not where he wanted to settle. His jewelry training in the Diamond District of Manhattan, fueled his desire to move home and begin his own brand. With his wife Kate, he opened Kyle Edward Fine Jewelry. in Salisbury, Maryland in 2013.
